Pilgrims en route to Santiago de Compostella are very welcome
As I walked the route to Santiago as a pilgrim myself last year, and therefore can relate from own experience how nice it is to have a comfortable place to sleep, Ries and I have decided to open our campsite to those that are following the same route.
Last week I saw the first pilgrim walking and I felt my heart leap for them. For those that are looking for a space for their own tent, there is always a space to be found, if you would like to stay in one of our wooden Tipis or an apartment, please let us know in advance.
Bon camino
This year a unique live performance during our BBQ on the 27th of July
We’ve been contacted by “Grytengrize” a Dutch band who will do a one-time only live performance this season during the BBQ night near the end of July.
We’ve heard a taster and were hooked. They have an existing program, but will take requests. Something to look forward to this summer.
Archery
In the coming season, just as in our last season, there will be the opportunity to, under professional guidance, take part in archery.
Guests over the last season have had lots of fun discovering and practising archery. Completely in accordance with the theme of our campsite, Frans and Gre, our enthusiastic volunteers, have been able to teach our little and big guests the tricks of the trade of Archery. This season we will be working with 4 lanes.
WiFi proved a success!
We try to keep up with technology. Therefore the opportunity to provide people with a Wi-Fi zone has been a success. People have been able to stay in touch with home or business, often whilst enjoying a cup of coffee or tea.
In 2011 a longer season!
Due to advertising in the ACSI guide since last year, we’ve proven that our campsite is a favourite with lots of people outside the high seasons as well.
Especially people that love peace, space, nature, and lovely walks enjoyed their stay and promised to come back. To accommodate even more people we’ve therefore extended our opening season with 2 months. Therefore we will also be open during the autumn break.
